Burns (CLE) and Vazquez (LA) win P.O.W. award
<a href=p1094.html>Titus Burns</a> wins his 4th Player 
of the Week award. American League pitchers couldn't 
figure out how to retire this guy all week long. Burns 
helped his team with an average of .529 and 13 RBI 
in 17 at bats. The National League Player of the Week 
award goes to <a href=p1589.html>Jesus Vazquez</a>, 
Los Angeles' starting leftfielder. In 28 at bats he 
hit .571 with 2 HR and 7 RBI. Jesus has gone 60 for 
155 (.387) this season, hitting 12 longballs and driving 
in 31 runs. He has scored 31 runs on his own. He's 
7th in the National League in batting!
